Wartales - The Skelmar Invasion: A New Chapter

Wartales - The Skelmar Invasion plunges players back into the turbulent world of Ormance, a county now overwhelmed by a relentless invasion. Under the ruthless High Jarl Sven, the Skelmars unite to lay waste to the once-thriving land, throwing it into chaos. This latest expansion emphasizes strategic gameplay, combining elements of tactical RPG mechanics with resource management, as players navigate a war-torn landscape aimed at reclaiming Ormance from the brink of disaster.

The Siege of Ormance’s Fabled Barony

Each barony in Ormance is a vivid testament to the havoc wreaked by the Skelmars. Players will explore areas transformed into strongholds by the enemy, each one ripe for liberation. Focused on defeating the fortified Skelmar stronghold at the heart of these regions, players must tactically dismantle enemy defenses and rally local allies. Failing to secure strongholds keeps areas occupied, preventing vital resource generation and rebuilding efforts.
