ABOUT THIS GAME

Explore the AC44C6M Loco Bundle in Trainz 2022

In Trainz 2022 DLC - Pro Train: AC44C6M Loco Bundle, players can take command of the powerful GE AC44C6M, a 4,400-horsepower diesel locomotive that has been extensively rebuilt for modern rail operations. This simulation offers both realism and variety for train enthusiasts looking to expand their virtual railroading experience on PC.

Authenticity of the AC44C6M Design

The AC44C6M is built on the foundation of the well-known Dash 9 locomotives but upgraded for enhanced performance. Starting from 2015, significant modifications were executed by major firms including GE (now Wabtec) and American Motive Power, Inc. It retains the original 16-cylinder 7FDL-16 prime mover, but the move from DC to AC traction motors signifies a leap in operational efficiency and capabilities, making each run feel realistic.
