Track Wildlife in a Harsh Environment

Hunting in Alberta demands skill and strategy. The frigid landscape teems with life, but survival is a game of patience. Askiy Ridge’s wildlife, uniquely adapted to its glacial conditions, offers both challenge and excitement. Footprints in the snow lead to the elusive Manitoban elk and, for the fortunate tracker, the majestic Great One mule deer. Wildlife behavior adds an extra layer of complexity, listen closely for the unmistakable sound of falling trees, a signal that North American beavers are active nearby.
