Mutazione - Soundtrack

Deep Dive into the Mutazione Soundtrack

The Mutazione soundtrack offers a rich auditory experience that extends the world of the game far beyond its visuals. Composed and performed by Alessandro Coronas, this collection features 36 tracks, totaling over four hours of music. Recorded in the natural beauty of southern Sardinia, the OST encapsulates the essence of the mutant soap opera, inviting listeners into its lush and bizarre landscapes.

Nature as Inspiration in Composition

Coronas’ approach to music production heavily emphasizes the connection to nature. He utilized live recordings, incorporating 'real' instruments to maintain a sense of authenticity. Each track presents lo-fi aesthetics and imperfections that mirror the environment of Mutazione. This intentional choice creates a down-to-earth atmosphere that resonates with the game's themes of community and environmental connection.
