Historical Context of the SSW D.IV

Developed towards the end of the Great War, the SSW D.IV aimed to shift the tides in favor of Germany. Although it arrived late, its performance in frontline squadrons showed promise, outpacing the renowned Fokker D.VII. It packed a punch with two 2 × 7.92mm machine guns, making it a formidable presence in the air. Players can immerse themselves in the role of a pilot from Jasta 22 in the included free historical campaign, "Against the Tide."
