Hive - The Pillbug

Expand Your Strategy with Hive - The Pillbug

Hive - The Pillbug is an expansion for the core strategy game Hive, available on PC. This addition introduces unique mechanics that enhance gameplay without overshadowing the original mechanics. Players can explore new strategies and refine their approach in this bug-themed battle of wits. The Pillbug adds depth, making each move more critical as you navigate your insects to victory.

Unique Mechanics of The Pillbug

The Pillbug shifts the dynamic of the game by allowing players to move neighboring pieces, both allies and opponents. While it travels only one space at a time, akin to the Queen, its capability to interact with adjacent pieces creates fresh avenues for both attack and defense. This added layer encourages players to think several steps ahead, rethinking their strategies with each turn.
