Expansion - Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods

Turmoil in the Age of Vikings: Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods

In "Crusader Kings II: The Old Gods," players find themselves in a Europe ravaged by fragmentation and conflict. The year is 867 AD, a time when petty fiefdoms vie for power and the Emperor faces the Pope over religious authority. This strategy/RPG expansion lets players explore the harsh realities of Viking society, offering a chance to forge legends and reshape history.

Play as Pagans and Zoroastrians

For the first time, players can fully embrace the roles of Pagan and Zoroastrian rulers. Engage as a Pagan chieftain, raiding and pillaging neighboring territories to grow your influence. The ambitious can rally powerful forces, pushing back against the encroaching spread of Christianity and Islam. As a Zoroastrian lord, players have the opportunity to restore a once-great religion and promote its tenets in a world dominated by rivals.
