Evergreen: Cacti Expansion

Manage Your Light: The Key to Cactus Survival

In Evergreen: Cacti Expansion, players need to adapt their strategies to keep their cacti thriving. These plants flourish in bright environments but will perish if they dwell in shadows by the end of a season. This increases the complexity of gameplay, making light management crucial. Ensure your biome provides adequate illumination to prevent losing valuable cacti while navigating the draft phase.

Navigating Negative Fertility Icons

One of the most fundamental changes brought by the cacti expansion is the introduction of Negative Fertility Icons. Biome cards featuring the Plant Cactus Power come with two of these icons. Each negative icon contributes a -1 penalty to the Fertility value of the biome. This mechanic adds an additional layer of strategy, as careful selection or rejection of these cards can critically affect your overall game state.
