Dead Space 2: Severed - Xbox One

Additional Storylines in Dead Space 2: Severed

Dead Space 2: Severed expands the chilling universe of the base game, Dead Space 2, by adding a gripping storyline that follows Gabe Weller, a security officer tasked with controlling the chaos of the Titan Mines. In this DLC, players must navigate a relentless struggle to reach his wife amidst a catastrophic breakdown of order. The narrative thrust combined with terrifying elements enhances the game's existing atmosphere while deepening character development.

New Perspectives on Horror Mechanics

This DLC introduces players to a new perspective on the horror mechanics that the Dead Space series is known for. With Weller in control, gameplay revolves around resource management, tense encounters, and strategic planning. Because of the limited ammunition and health packs, players must utilize both stealth and shooting to fend off horrifying Necromorphs lurking in the shadows. This adds another layer of complexity to the already well-received mechanics of the base game.
