DEAD+ is a Map Pack Expansion

DEAD+ serves as an intriguing map pack for the existing title DEAD, offering players new avenues for exploration within the game’s core mechanics. Currently available for PC, this DLC is designed to enhance your gameplay by promising a future release of additional content, which includes eight new maps. However, at present, the pack doesn't deliver any new content due to issues stemming from engine updates.

Future Content and Overhaul Plans

Players should note that while DEAD+ is purchasable now, the anticipated content updates won't be accessible until December 2025. The developer has acknowledged significant compatibility issues that arose after a GameMaker engine update, which rendered much of the existing game content and engine functionality unstable. A full overhaul is in the works to stabilize the game and rectify the effects of these changes.
