Explore the Umbral Abyss in Age of Wonders 4: Eldritch Realms

In Age of Wonders 4: Eldritch Realms, the expansive world of the original game takes a dark turn, inviting players to delve into the Umbral Abyss. This expansion builds on the already rich strategy RPG experience of the base game, introducing new layers of complexity, narrative, and tactical opportunities. Players can now embrace the role of an Eldritch Sovereign, granting them terrifying powers to conquer and manipulate as they face pervasive darkness threatening the realms.

Navigate the Dark Domain

The Umbral Abyss is not just a haunting backdrop; it includes fresh tactical combat maps and twelve unique locations ripe for exploration. Independent factions known as Umbral Dwellings are home to demons and corrupted creatures eager to thwart your progress. While the abyss harms any units that dare to enter, players can secure their safety by acquiring the Umbral Flesh Minor Transformation. This mechanic introduces a layer of strategy that forces careful navigation through this treacherous terrain.
